Fragments of Me:
Liz Murphy Photography bloomed in shadow, captured in light.
This journey began, like most, in the aftermath of heartbreak and big life changes. I picked up my camera to survive, to hold onto something steady when everything else was shifting. What started as a way to breathe became a way to feel, to heal, and to witness.
My lens gravitates toward the quiet and overlooked: rusted fences wrapped in ivy, petal curling with time, dandelions waiting to let go, and late sunlight falling through broken windows. Each photo holds a softness, even in stillness. A kind of reverence for what remains.
Across my galleries, you’ll find contrast, decay beside bloom, shadow beside light, solitude beside survival. They’re not just images. They’re moments I’ve lived. Glimpses of how I see the world… raw, patient, and honest.
If you’re here, maybe you’ve been through something too. Maybe you also find peace in what most people pass by.
I’m based in Northeast Ohio, but my work reaches wherever quiet beauty lives.
Thank you for pausing with me.
